Retouching includes: -

- Cleaning the skin and brightening dark areas
- Brightening the eyes
- Fixing the teeth
- Adding eye lashes to the right eye
- Reshaping the features of the face (facial structure/ear/nose/eyes)

Saw this New product from Amazon US – Absolutely love it! Can’t wait to get my hands on one…..Will be ordering it soon!

So I started my micro-stock account thanks to Naomi, she was the one that told me that she was earning few hundreds every month.
When I heard that, I was ready to get into it!  Saw her collection of images, she’s got quite a lot of images. I thought to myself,  few hundreds every month for selling images I hardly use that is taking up space on my hardisk. Sounds like a good plan to me.

Signed up under her so she will get a little extra from me if I manage to sell, as she was the one that told me about this.

I will list down the micro sites she gave me and explain the ease of entry and how fast it is to make money with microstock, and all the various loopholes you have to go thru to start.

I think I will do a review on each site on each post, but will list it out now. (the $ is out of 5 earned & suggested is just based on my images, other people might earn more on some, I am just posting it based on my experience.)

istockphoto  – Quite a hardball! Pretty much a pioneer so standards are pretty high.

ShutterStock  - Another Difficult one to get in. Once you are in, this is the easiest to cash in. I have 60 images here and within a month earned around 50 bucks. Will be uploading more, as this was the hardest to get in, but it is worth all the effort & time.

BigStockPhoto - Easy to get in, slow on sale. However, bigger payout for each photo sold. Sold 3 images and got around $10 bucks. You get the idea.

Fotolia – the money is ok, a little slow as the price is less for each sold image, but it is still moving.

Dreamstime – Good stock site…Easy to upload and sold quite a few here too even with just a few photos.

Will post up more info on all the stock sites….the entry, the uploading, the quality control, the income, and others.

Before you get involve with microstock, maybe you can check out some books!

This will really help you with knowing what sells!

The photos were shortlisted and a few of my photos and her photos got selected (THANKS TO MY GUIDANCE, CAMERA I BOUGHT HER, & MY RETOUCHING SKILLS). I MUST really must emphasize, if not she will be too proud of herself, and I have a feeling one of her photos is going to win!

Only took my D3 + 105mm micro lens. Wanted to just walked around and travel light. Didn’t get to capture a lot of landscape shots with that lens. It was hard to take nice landscape with so many tourist everywhere. Decided to go close instead! Main focus was just flowers……Hardly travel with my micro lens…was a good day to use it.

Was really nice to see where Monet stayed and got his inspiration from…the area is a beautiful place…a little too crowded with tourist…but it was Sunday..was pretty enjoyable drive + day.

Always wanted to take bugs and flowers…so gave it a go!
Just walked around with the camera and lens…no tripod no flash…just natural lighting and steady hands!

Wanted to focus on the flowers…so cropped it 1×1 to get a square frame around to capture the attention on the flowers…added vignette to it to really focus on the colours….

Prague is a beautiful city rich with historical sights, there was so many things to do.

We were there for only 3 days, checked out most of the touristic spots and it was good.

Before going so many friends told me how cheap the beer and food is, but when I was there it WAS NOT that cheap.
Maybe I was unlucky and only ate at “tourist” restaurants.
The first one was a big CON JOB! It was a grilled chicken breast, and the waiter asked what side do I want, so he suggested chips and I went along with it. When it came it was a piece of chicken and chips, as described, but it was miserable.

The bill came and I GOT ANGRY, the chicken and the chips was not a set. Who the hell sells a dish with just a piece fried chicken on a plate.
The CHICKEN cost €5!~! and the fries was another €2 !! Was not worth it at all.
I thought €5 for a big chunk of meat with sides will be okie…but big rip off!….I FORGOT THE NAme of the SHOP, but I will google it and find the name and track it down and report it on tripadvisor!!

*Update*!! Found the restaurant on google street view..It is Restaurant U Dominikana,Prague. Wrote a review on tripadvisor! ! BAD REVIEW! Bad Miserable piece of Chicken Schnitzel

Anyways! most of the restaurants food was good and price was alright beer was around 69-90 czk around 2.5-3 euro…not as what my “FRIENDS” mentioned 1 euro for beer! maybe not where we went!
