I just need my Darling and Susie, and its perfect!

I didn’t know if it will arrive today or not, but I was super excited to get home!
Checked the mail!! found my collect mail card!

Ran back to my room, and started tearing up the plastic….(just a dramatization of what happened),

mmmmmm Lovely

mmmmmm Lovely

I got it for such a good price, you could get one too!!

Well I’ll do a lil personal review….I can’t really test it out with my gear, cause I Don’t have it with me (really sad)….but just a general write up!

So that’s the Bag…

Protect The Polar

Protect The Polar

Part of the proceeds from the bag goes to protecting the polar bear…which brings good karma to the buyer.

Overall the bag looks and feels solid, with the black stylishness of a travel backpack.

Solid Straps

Solid Support

Ignore the rubbish on the bed. Solid Solid support and strap!

Side Door!

Side Door!

Comes with a side door for easy access to gear when on the move. But it might be a bit too small for my D3 or camera’s with a batt grip. (SAD!) Will try it out when I get back to my Susie (my camera).

Gear Compartment

Good Pockets all around

Good Pockets all around

The internal supports your gear fairly well, and the top personal compartment is a good size. With good pockets for memory and other little items.
However, the gear space is quite small, you can only fit 2 small lens and a big 70-200 or 80-200.
It even comes with FREE SILICA gel!!! now your gear won’t get MOIST!! lol
Both opens from the bag…so its kinda theft proof.

Tripod Support

Tripod support with movable extension to hold your tripod steady!!

Open compartment to put items for easy access, such as a jacket, maps, books, whatever that you need!!
Even a 15inch laptop!! (not advisable) But an OPTION!

THERE YOU GO!! GOOD SOLID LOVELY BAG For Traveling…
Downside…not a lot of space for big camera or big lens for big events, but perfect for 1-2 lens travel fun!

Tried to take a photo of me using the bag…room was too dark/no tripod/no friend/no assistant/bad iso/lazy/forgot to switch off flash…wanted to finish this post in 10 mins!

Yes I’m Very good with excuses!

Read your short review of the Lowepro Primus. I assume it is the Primus AW and not the Primus Minimus (i.e. you have the bigger one). Have you put it into travel use yet and if so, how are you liking or disliking it? Thanks for your feedback.

  • Hi Gunny,
Yes this is the bigger middle version of primus.
Primus AW. not Minumus, or the bigger version CompuPrimus.

Yes. I brought it to Cambodia for 4 days. It was perfect for my needs…but might be a tad tight for my gear. But it still fits my gear well and was easy to carry it around since its not a shoulder bag or a sling…so the weight was distributed well and i was carrying the bag and cycling all day.

it fits my 3 main lens, but really tight. and camera’s with batt grip or pro cam…won’t be able to use the side zip opening to take the camera out. but its not that troublesome to get it from the main opening.

tripid space is good, top compartment is good for everything like my flash and clothes…middle opening is good for books or jacket or whatever….

so over pretty good bag…hope this helps!

  • Hi, can I use part of the info found in this post if I put a link back to your blog?
